WHY NATURAL COSMETICS?

Yes. Natural cosmetics are as effective as Conventional cosmetics.

Active ingredients in Natural Cosmetics come directly from nature and haven’t been synthesized in a laboratory.

WHAT INGREDIENTS SHOULD WE AVOID?

Parabens: Preservatives used in the cosmetic industry to prolong shelf life of the products. They act as hormone disruptors mimicking estrogens and have been linked to breast cancer and reproductive issues.

Petroleum: It goes by a few different names, including mineral oil, petrolatum, and paraffin oil. Our body doesn’t metabolize it and stay in our bodies without having the possibility of eliminating it.

PG’s: Petroleum derivatives that are obtained in a refinery. They are used to mix different substances that would be impossible to mix otherwise and to increase skin’s permeability. Some impurities that are potentially carcinogenic are generated in their production process. They also modify the skyns hydrolipid layer, leaving the skin unprotected in order to increase its permeability.

They are also bad for the environment cause they take too long to degrade.

BHA & BHT: They are used as preservatives and synthetic antioxidants. They are known to be hormone disruptors and carcinogenic.

WHY TO USE ORGANIC PRODUCTS?

Not all products advertised as Natural really are. Most of them have only a couple of natural ingredients in low concentrations. Some of them even make claims such as ” Free fom parabens” to later use other harmful ingredients as bad as parabens.

Many ingredients used in conventional cosmetics and even Natural cosmetics are hormone disruptors, which are known to have the following effects in human health:

DO MEN HAVE TO LIMIT THEIR USE TO THE MENS SKIN CARE LINE?

Absolutely not. Men range of products offers specific products for men, but other products such as the skin moisturizer can be also chosen according to the specific skin type.

WHEN TO USE EVERY PRODUCT?

We recommend the use of body oils and face serum at night, because it is while we sleep that our body uses the ingredients provided by the essential oils in cell regeneration.
